Lessons are available Monday - Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Fridays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They are scheduled on the hour on a bi weekly basis. The rate is $45.00 per hour.
I have found scheduling lessons every other week for an hour instead of every week for 30 minutes to be very beneficial.
I have developed a very easy to follow step by step method. Each lesson is recorded on a DVD for you to review and practice your lessons to. Regardless of your status (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), or somewhere in between, my method is flexible enough to take you from where you are musically to where you want to be. I will teach you at a pace that you can follow, and will teach you not just how to play songs but where songs come from. You will see how what you have learned is applied to songs. You'll be amazed at how easy a lot of songs are to play. I really enjoy getting a student to this point, and my method is designed to make that happen as soon as possible.
If you have been playing for awhile, but feel like your at an impasse, my method will access what level you are at and begin to take the necessary steps to get you to the next level. That may sound a little vague, but there are a lot of nuances that will vary from one student to another.
These are very customized tailored lessons designed to suit each students individual practice schedule, musical styles, goals, etc. Everyone is different and my method is geared to accommodate this. I don't believe in a cookie cutter one size fits all approach which is why I don't teach out of books. Instead I use my own method and make all of my own guitar charts, sheet music, scale diagrams, backing tracks etc.
I teach all styles of music except Classical, and Chet Atkins finger picking. I teach finger picking, just not on the level of guitarist like Chet.
