To learn more about Knoll please visit our website www.knoll.com POSITION PROFILEThe Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in manufacturing. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians. Key responsibilities include: Establishes standards, policies, and procedures for installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations Directs maintenance personnel and the maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery on multiple shifts Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications Champion and team leader of site TPM program. Participate in and take a leadership role in Value Stream and Lean events Designs, develops and researches new processes or improvements to existing processes, tooling and equipment. Assumes project leadership role for complex problems As a Supply Chain Team member, applies engineering techniques to minimize labor, material and overhead costs. Ensures that all new and/or existing processes comply with corporate policy in environmental health and safety. As a Plant team member with production, troubleshoots operational issues on a daily basis. Contacts and travels to supplier sites to obtain information relative to existing products, purchased parts, and manufacturing processes Maintains up to date state of the art knowledge in the area of Plant and Maintenance Engineering methods and processes Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed in order to maintain on time customer commitments, productivity and quality requirements Recognize and solve problems affecting production including schedules, staff, quality, and materials. Maintain a safe work environment Ability to work shifts and overtime
