Job Description:
Engineering II level qualifications with the ability to manage complex Network Integrity Audits. Able to complete design, or problem resolution for a majority of problems encountered including the ability to resolve Broadband, DWDM, CWDM, SONET, Ethernet technical issues. Ability to work problems of significant to strategic scope. Communicate with diverse organizations both internal and external.
Special Requirements/ Certifications:
Strong understanding of telecom networks and equipment. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data networking, particularly experience with SONET, ADSL, DWDM, CWDM, Ethernet and/or IP networks is desired. Expert:level analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Education:
College degree, preferably technical or engineering. Minimum of 5 years experience using MetaSolv, Granite or similar equipment and circuit provisioning system for updating, adding, deleting network equipment(s)and network circuit design(s) functionality.
Experience:
7+ years
