Job Description
Our client is a national grocer specializing in luxury foods and lifestyle items. The company is expanding its North American footprint to include sales through eCommerce / Digital channels. This means that their digital marketing & sales teams are growing and they're currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Manager - eCommerce.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in areas of digital marketing, ecommerce, and sales as related to food, groceries, and general lifestyle brands and is capable of travelling to various locations across North America the Senior Executive team with new initiative implementation and consultation.
Salary:
Yearly: minimum $80,000 maximum $120,000 for 40.0 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages:
English
Education:
Completion of university
Experience:
2+ years in eCommerce grocery and/or food merchandising
Specific Skills:
Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations
Manage staff and assign duties
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
Determine merchandise and services to be sold
Implement price and credits policies
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
Determine staffing requirements
Recruit and train staff
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
