Statement of Work Position: Windows and/or Linux Administrator Location: Anderson, SC Duration: 9 Months Extension: Yes Daily Duties: Assist with administration, analysis, development, and design of our Windows Server environment. Provide technical documentation for these servers. Subject Matter Expert to assist with design, installation, and management of various infrastructure applications on mission critical Windows Server systems. Tune systems for optimal performance. Track system capacity. Ensure system stability. 35% Train and advise less skilled systems programmers and provide expert technical assistance for others. 20% Collaborate and liaise with other units and serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert. 20% Serve in on-call rotation. Follow industry standard best practices and CCIT policies and procedures. 15% Contribute to research and development projects as required. 10% Required Skills: Firm Windows Server xxxx and/or xxxx R2 knowledge and experience Technical documentation Soft skills Required: Effective Communication Skills (written and oral), Adaptability, Flexibility, Self-motivation, Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, Time Management, Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment Preferred Skills: Understanding of Exchange administration components and configuration. Powershell experience and knowledge Experience with VMware Knowledge of Linux would be a plus. RedHat knowledge and/or certifications would be a plus Required Education: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience Required Certifications: NONE
